The Icecream shop pos system is developed using C#.NET. The project is built to manage sales and transactions. To make a new transaction, fields such as: Ice cream type and Drink type, qty needs to be selected. If you like to learn point of sales systems step by step, this is the right place to learn from the beginning. In this tutorial useful for making a point of sales system for a small shops. I attached the video tutorial below how the system works.

In C# don’t have a input box if we want to input a input box we have to declare a following namespace

using Microsoft.VisualBasic;

First we have to set the Picture Click Event if we click the item image it will allow to display the item qty input box for enter the qty.

 public Form1()
        {
            InitializeComponent();
            dataGridView1.BackColor = Color.LightGreen;
            pictureBox1.MouseClick += mouseClick;
            pictureBox2.MouseClick += mouseClick;
            pictureBox3.MouseClick += mouseClick;
            pictureBox5.MouseClick += mouseClick;
            pictureBox8.MouseClick += mouseClick;
            pictureBox7.MouseClick += mouseClick;
            pictureBox6.MouseClick += mouseClick;
        }

Variable Creation

string cho;
int price;
int qty;

Mouse Click Event

private void mouseClick(object sender, MouseEventArgs e)
        {

            var clickedPictureBox = (PictureBox)sender;
            if (clickedPictureBox == pictureBox1)
            {
                cho = "Chocolate";
                price = 21;

                qty = int.Parse(Interaction.InputBox("Enter the Qty ?", "Qty", " "));

           }
            else if  (clickedPictureBox == pictureBox2)
            {
                 cho = "Vanila";
                 price = 38;
                 qty = int.Parse(Interaction.InputBox("Enter the Qty ?", "Qty", " "));
            }

            else if (clickedPictureBox == pictureBox3)
            {
                cho = "Strawberry";
                price = 25;
                qty = int.Parse(Interaction.InputBox("Enter the Qty ?", "Qty", " "));
            }

            else if (clickedPictureBox == pictureBox5)
            {
                cho = "Mix Fruit";
                price = 35;
                qty = int.Parse(Interaction.InputBox("Enter the Qty ?", "Qty", " "));
            }

            else if (clickedPictureBox == pictureBox8)
            {
                cho = "Orange Juice";
                price = 40;
                qty = int.Parse(Interaction.InputBox("Enter the Qty ?", "Qty", " "));
            }
            else if (clickedPictureBox == pictureBox7)
            {
                cho = "Coca cola";
                price = 45;
                qty = int.Parse(Interaction.InputBox("Enter the Qty ?", "Qty", " "));
            }

            else if (clickedPictureBox == pictureBox6)
            {
                cho = "Apple Juice";
                price = 50;
                qty = int.Parse(Interaction.InputBox("Enter the Qty ?", "Qty", " "));
            }

            int tot = price * qty;
            this.dataGridView1.Rows.Add(cho, price, qty, tot.ToString());

            int sum = 0;
            for (int row = 0; row < dataGridView1.Rows.Count; row++)
            {
                sum = sum + Convert.ToInt32(dataGridView1.Rows[row].Cells[3].Value);
            }

            textBox1.Text = sum.ToString();

        }
